Judgement

BIOBELE ABRAHAM GEORGEWILL, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the High Court of Delta State, Coram: Anthony Olotu Akpovi J., in Suit No. UHC/19/2018: Oduaran Adjarho v. Inspector General of Police and Ors delivered on 28/3/2019, wherein the claims of the Appellant as Applicant against the Respondents were dismissed for lacking in merit.

The Appellant was peeved with the said judgment and had promptly appealed against it vide a Notice of Appeal filed on 29/3/2019 on ten grounds of appeal at pages 213 -221 of the Record of Appeal. The Record of Appeal was duly transmitted to this Court on 14/6/2019. The Appellant’s brief was filed on 14/6/2019. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th Respondents’ Joint brief was filed on 23/2/2021. The 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Respondents did not file any Respondent brief.
