BALKISU BELLO ALIYU, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): By a motion on notice filed on the 28th March 2022, the Applicants prayed this Court for the following orders:

  1. AN ORDER of this Honourable Court granting leave to the Interested Parties/Appellants/Applicants, being the Chief Law Officers of all the 36 States of the Federation in Nigeria to appeal against the Judgment of High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Coram, Honourable Justice O. A. Adeniyi, delivered on the 23rd July, 2021, in suit No.: M/3851/2021, RIOK NIGERIA LTD V. (DR) ZAINAB SHAMSUNA AHMED & 2 ORS., as Parties Affected/Appellants.

  2.
