UZO I. NDUKWE-ANYANWU, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the High Court of Lagos State delivered on the 28th day of September, 2012 by Hon. Justice O. A. Williams wherein the Appellant was arraigned, tried, convicted and Sentenced to 21 years imprisonment on a two count charge of Armed Robbery contrary to Section 402(2)(a) of the Criminal Code Law Cap. C17 Vol. 2 Laws of Lagos State, 2003. The charge against the Appellant in the Court below is as follows:
