The parties were married under Akan custom in January 1980. This was  converted to an Ordinance Marriage on 19th of October 2000 at the Offices of the  Principal Registrar of Marriages, Accra. There are three issues of the marriage  who are adults aged 35, 31 and 25 years respectively. 

Per the petition filed on the 3rd day of November, 2015, the Petitioner is  praying for the following reliefs: 

i. That the said marriage be dissolved. 

ii. That house No. 37 Agbogba be settled in favour of the Petitioner.

iii. That house No. 16 Sakora be settled in favour of the Respondent.

iv. That the unnumbered house at Agbogba be settled in favour of the  issues of the marriage.

The Respondent filed an Answer and save that she blamed the desertion by the Petitioner for the breakdown of the marriage, she consents to the dissolution  of the marriage. She cross-petitioned as follows: 

a) The Petitioner be ordered to pay the Respondent a lump sum compensation  to buffer her trading act…
