Judgement

AGIM, J.S.C.: (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The 2ndrespondent was one of the aspirants for election or nomination as the appellant’s candidate for the general election of senator for Imo North Senatorial District. As such aspirant he submitted a completed APC nomination form, APC expression of Interest form accompanied by copies of his West African Examination Council School Certificate results, Imo State University Degree Certificate, NYSC Certificate and other documents. He and other10 aspirants were screened by the screening committee of the appellant on 26th August 2020. The screening committee cleared five aspirants including the 4th respondent herein to contest and did not clear 6 aspirants to contest the primary election of the appellant to nominate its said candidate for the Imo North Senatorial District Bye-election.
