JUDGMENT
ADJEI, J.A.
The AppellantĀ and twoĀ other accused persons wereĀ charged with fourĀ counts ofĀ offences, namely; conspiracy to commit robbery contrary to sections 23(1) andĀ 149 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 and robbery contrary to Section 149 of the CriminalĀ Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
The Appellant and the other accused persons were tried on indictment. The accused persons pleaded guilty simpliciter to the counts and were convicted on their own plea. The High court convicted all the accused persons and sentenced each of them to thirty-five years I.H.L.
The Appellant herein dissatisfied with the sentence imposed on him filed an appeal pursuant to the leave granted by the Court of Appeal to fileĀ an appeal against sentenceĀ out of time.
The two grounds of appeal filed by the appellant are:
