TUKUR JCA (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This appeal is against the judgment of the National and States Houses of AssemblyElection Petition Tribunal (panel 3) sitting at Ikeja, Lagos State delivered on 13 October 2015 in petition No. NA/LEGH/EPT/L/S/ 22/2015, wherein the trial tribunal dismissed the petition of the appellants. The background facts grounding the appeal as gleaned from the record of appeal are that the appellants were the petitionersat the trial tribunal. The 1st appellant was the candidate of the 2nd appellant at the State House of Assembly elections for the Lagos Mainland 1 Constituency seat in the House of Assembly, conducted on 11 April 2015 by the 3rd respondent, at which the 1st respondent was the candidate of the 2nd respondent.
