The parties were married customarily on the 24th day of January 2004. The  parties are both Ghanaians. The Petitioner works with Africa World Airlines and the Respondent is a businessman. There are two issues of the marriage; Angel  Maame Ako Asamoah and Dwayne Nana Kwame Asamoah, who are 11 and 10 years old respectively. Per the petition filed on the 23rd day of January, 2015, the Petitioner is praying for reliefs as follows: 

i) That the customary marriage celebrated between the parties be  dissolved. 

ii) That the Petitioner is granted custody and the Respondent granted access to the children of the marriage. 

iii) That the Respondent be ordered to pay to the Petitioner such  maintenance pending suit and thereafter such periodic payments as may  be just.

iv) That the Respondent be ordered to pay to the Petitioner in the alternative  a lump sum of GH¢100,000.00 as compensation.
