JUDGMENT
ASIEDU, J.
By a writ of summons issued on the 21st October 2016 the plaintiff claims against the defendant:
(a) Recovery of the sum of Two Hundred and Eighty Thousand United States Dollar (USD 280,000.00) or its equivalent in Ghana Cedis being the sum of money owed the Plaintiff by the Defendant under the contract for sale of land duly executed between the parties.
(b) Interest on the said sum from January 2016 to date of final payment.
(c) Damages for breach of contract;
(d) General damages;
(e) Costs; including costs of solicitors;
(f) Any other reliefs(s)/orders as the Honourable Court may deem fit.
The defendant company entered appearance and later filed a defence on the 4th November 2016 in which the defendant company counter-claimed for:
(i) The sum of US$90,000 (Ninety Thousand United States Dollars) being the cost of the Honda Accord and Toyota Land Cruiser Vehicles.
(ii) Interest on the aforementioned sum from January2016 till date of final payment.
(iii) The sum of GH¢24,000.00…
