Judgement

J U D G M E N T 

Bennet Buertey Kpentey (hereinafter called the Petitioner) and Juliana Sonia Setor Nornorkuadzi (hereinafter called the Respondent) were married under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951 Rev.) at the Christ the King Catholic Church, Accra on the 10th day of May 1997. 

Prior to this marriage, the parties had contracted a customary marriage on  the 8th day of May 1997, at Dansoman, Accra. The parties who are both  Ghanaians cohabited at East Legon. There are two issues of the marriage, Amy  Lamki Kpentey and Allen Lamtey Kpentey who are 18 and 15 years old  respectively. The Petitioner is a Management Consultant and the Respondent is  a banker. 

Per the petition filed on the 3rd day of February, 2015 the Petitioner is praying the Court for reliefs as follows:

a. The marriage between the parties contracted on May 10, 1997 be dissolved.

b. That Respondent be ordered to have full custody of the children with access to Petitioner.
