1. INTRODUCTION:
The claimant commenced this action by a complaint filed on the 5th of December, 2018 and accompanied by the statement of facts, witness statement on oath, list of documents and copies thereof. The claimant is claiming against the defendant the following reliefs:
a. An order of the court declaring that unless the claimant’s employment is terminated in writing, the claimant is still the employee of the defendant and entitled to all the salaries, allowances and/or benefits that go with the office of Assistant General Manager of the defendant.
b. An order declaring null and void the letter dated July 29, 2015 titled ‘Letter of Recovery and Suspension’ same having been issued and served on the claimant without fair hearing.
c. An order compelling the defendant to pay the sum of 1,080,000.00 (one million eighty thousand naira only) being the claimant’s leave allowance for 2015.
