Judgement

STEPHEN JONAH ADAH, J.S.C. (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This appeal is against the decision of the Court of Appeal, Yola Judicial Division, in Appeal No: CA/YL/215C/2017, delivered on the 12th day of April, 2019. In its decision, the lower Court upheld the appeal of the respondents against the ruling of the Taraba State High Court of Justice, sitting at Jalingo, in Suit No: TRSJ/33M/2017, which was delivered on February 15, 2017. The trial Court had previously ruled in favour of the applicants/appellants and awarded the sum of Five Million Naira (N5,000,000.00), payable to the 1st applicant/appellant through his counsel.
