<p><strong><span style="background-color: transparent">JUDGMENT </span></strong></p><p> <span style="background-color: transparent">Plaintiff was an employee of Defendant, the latter being a tertiary institution  created by statute. Plaintiff was the Deputy Director for the Physical Development  and Municipal Services Directorate (PDMSD) of Defendant institution. The Vice  Chancellor (VC) of Defendant by letter dated 23rd February, 2015 reassigned  Plaintiff duties at the Korle Bu campus of Defendant as Projects Manager with the  College of Health and Sciences with effect from 1st March, 2015. Plaintiff alleges  further that, per correspondence from the VC dated 24th April, 2015 it was directed that, his salaries be withheld and a demand on him to assume duty at the  Korle Bu campus or be faced with his position being declared vacant. </span></p><p> <span style="background-color: transparent">Plaintiff also asserts that, whilst he was on accumulated leave of 620 days, he was  requested by the VC to return Defendant’s vehicle in his possession but he  declined the request because it was common practice that when an employee of  the Defendant is on leave, that em…</span></p>
