JUDGMENT

i. Introduction:

[1] The Plaintiff is seeking a formal statement/pronouncement from this Court that the Defendant herein has breached the terms of the tenancy agreement the parties signed. The Plaintiff claims the payment of a remainder of a tenancy based on the terms of the agreement dated January 5, 2015 signed by the parties in respect of a property situate at Roman Ridge, Accra. In addition, the Plaintiff claims damages for breach of contract. This litigation appears to have been triggered when the Defendant failed to pay an invoice dated July 1, 2015 delivered to his office on July 6, 2015.

[2] By a writ of summons filed on the 5th February, 2016 the Plaintiff claims against the Defendant the following reliefs:

a. A Declaration that the Defendant has breached the terms of the tenancy agreement dated 3rd January 2015 in respect of the property known as No. 16 Continental Crescent, Roman Ridge, Accra being a three-bedroom single storey;
