Judgement

MOHAMMED MUSTAPHA, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the decision of the National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal for Rivers State sitting in Abuja, Coram Hon. Justice Goddy I. Anunihu (Chairman), Hon. Justice Mukhtari Yushau (Member) Hon. Justice Rose G. Soji (Member), in the Petition No: EPT/RV/HR/01/2016, wherein the Tribunal dismissed the petition for lack of merit, among other things; the judgment is at pages 3409- 3473 of the record of appeal volume 3.

Dissatisfied, the appellants appealed, by notices filed on the 6th of July 2017 and 12th of July 2017, as contained in pages 3473 - 3476 and 3477-3506 respectively of volume 3 of the record of appeal; the appellants abandoned the earlier notice of the 6th of July 2017, thus relying on that of the 12th July 2017, which contains 28 grounds of appeal.
