JUDGMENT 


 The parties were married on the 21st day of October 2006 under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951 Rev.) at the Deeper Life Bible Church, Kajebi. The  Petitioner is a Human Resource Manager of Conservania Africana Ghana Limited. The Respondent works with the Ghana Fire Service with the rank of  Group Fire Officer. 

The marriage did not produce any issue save that the Respondent had three children from two previous relationships. The said children are 31, 29 and 19 years old respectively. 

It is the Petitioner's case that the marriage has broken down irretrievably due to  irreconcilable differences of the parties in that:

“a) There is constant disagreement between the parties which never get resolved by reason of the negative posture of the Respondent.  

b) There is never anything known as love in the marriage and the parties are almost always acting as strangers to each other.
