Mrs. Eunice Akua Nyarkoa Antwi (hereinafter called the Petitioner) and Dr. John Yaw Antwi (hereinafter called the Respondent) were married under customary law at Achimota, Accra in October, 2001. The marriage was subsequently converted to a marriage under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951 Rev.) on the 26th day of December 2002 at the Christ the King Catholic Church, Cantonments, Accra.
After the said marriage, the parties cohabited at Tesano and later relocated to House No. C1 1st Labone Street, Labone, Accra.
The Petitioner, as at the 5th day of August 2014 when the petition was filed was working with Bulk Oil Storage and Transport (BOST). She has since changed jobs and is now the Manager of the Human Resources Department of COCOBOD.
The Respondent is a doctor at the La General Hospital. There are three issues of the marriage whose names and dates of birth are follows:
