Judgement

JUDGMENT 

The parties were married under the Marriage Ordinance, 1951 Rev. (CAP  127) on the 30th day of March, 2013 at the La Boutique Hotel, Airport, Accra. 

The Petitioner is domiciled in Ghana whilst the Respondent is domiciled in the  United Kingdom. 

The Petitioner is a Landlady/Graduate Student whilst the Respondent is  unemployed. 

There is one issue of the marriage – Oscar McClymont, aged 3 years. The Petitioner also has one other child before the marriage – Cayenne Rettenmund aged  8 years and living in the matrimonial home.

The Petitioner filed a petition on the 7th day of June, 2016, for the dissolution of the marriage and the following reliefs: 

a. Full custody of the only child of the marriage 

b. An order of this Court, permanently restraining the Respondent from contacting or visiting the children without the express consent of the  Petitioner 

c. An order that the Respondent is mulcted in costs for being responsible for the  breakdown of the marriage
