JUDGMENT

AGBEVEY, J.

The parties were married under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951  Rev.) on the 12th day of December, 2009 at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Dansoman, Accra. After the marriage, the parties cohabited at House Number  8462/14, 8 Samenea Road, Dansoman, in a house belonging to the Petitioner’s  mother. 

Per the petition filed on the 11th day of August 2015, the Petitioner is  praying for the following reliefs: 

1. That the marriage contracted between herself and the Respondent under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) on the 12th day of December, 2009 be  dissolved. 

2. That the Petitioner be granted custody of the only child of the marriage  called Jadyn Appiah-Amponsah.

The Respondent filed an amended Answer and cross-petition on the 28th day of September 2015 denying the material particulars. He cross-petitioned for reliefs as follows:
