J U D G M E N T 

Geralda Ama Annoh (hereinafter called the Petitioner) and Max-x Annoh (hereinafter called the Respondent) converted their customary marriage to a  marriage under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951 Rev.) on the 22nd day of December, 2000 at the Hope Assemblies of God Church, Mamprobi, Accra. After the marriage, the parties cohabited in Accra. 

There are two issues of the marriage. Per the petition filed on the 2nd day of April, 2015, the Petitioner works with ACUMED Lab at Korle Bu and the Respondent is a private school proprietor/teacher.

On the grounds that the Respondent has behaved in such a cruel manner that she cannot reasonably be expected to live with the Respondent, the Petitioner is seeking the following reliefs: 

(a) The marriage between the Petitioner and Respondent hereto be dissolved.

(b)That the Respondent be ordered to pay to Petitioner her contribution, both  material and monetary which she made towards the acquisition of the one storey building comp…
