Judgement

CONSENT JUDGMENT 

Parties have settled all issues between them and have filed terms of settlement on  the 25th of April, 2016 at 9:30 am to wit that:

1. The Plaintiffs hereby discontinue the action against the defendants. 

2. The parties shall, working with all other Labour Unions, the Employers’ Association  and the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, within six months of the  execution of this Terms of Settlement, prepare a working document for adoption by all  Labour Unions which provides the following: 

a. A working definition of the term “Organised Labour” 

b. An organogram for decision making within Organised Labour 

c. A timetable for the adoption by all Labour Unions of the working document and  operationalizing the same. 

3. The Trade Unions Congress shall bear all costs incidental to the preparation of the  working document. 

4. Save for paragraph 3 above, the parties shall each bear their own costs.
