There is the need to set the tone for this judgment picking what the concern of this court should be from the pleadings of the parties.

Firstly, is the issue of the dissolution of the marriage. Both parties are agreeable to the dissolution of the marriage. The duty of the court is therefore to find out whether there is any basis to grant the divorce. The petitioner alleges assault and an incorrigible appetite for violence by the respondent which has given her grave emotional and psychological stress. In addition to these, the petitioner alleges that the respondent has an adulterous nature such that he is currently living with a lady called Ruweida. She is also alleging that the respondent has had an adulterous relationship with one Caire Ameyaw as well as a teacher working with Glow Lamp International School.
