Judgement

MOORE ASEIMO ABRAHAM ADUMEIN, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The appellant and Messrs Iliya Golpub, Nde Shekuraji Gibum and Musa Jimen were arraigned before the High Court of Plateau State, holden at Pankshin, charged with the following offences:

“COUNT 1

That you ILIYA GOLPUP, NDE SHEKURAJI GIBUM, NDE YIKOBA GOSHELENG, MUSA JIMEN on or about the 24th day of March, 2014 at Tazuk village in Pankishin Local Government Area within Plateau Judicial Division agreed to do an illegal act to Wit: impersonation and inciting disturbance, the acts which done in pursuance of your agreement and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 97 of the Penal Code, Laws of Northern Nigeria, 1963.

COUNT 2

​That you ILIYA GOLPUP, NDE SHEKURAJI GIBUM, NDE YIKOBA GOSHELENG, MUSA JIMEN on or about the 24th day of March, 2014 at Tazuk village in Pankshin Local Government Area within the Plateau Judicial Division committed an illegal act to Wit: inciting disturbance when you jointly caused the…
