Judgement

ABDU ABOKI, J.C.A. (Delivering The Leading Judgment): This an appeal against the Judgment of Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna State delivered on 05/11/2013 by M. I. Awokulehin J. whereby the Appellant was convicted and sentence to seven 7 years imprisonment on each of the two counts charge of Conspiracy and Obtaining Money Under False pretence contrary to Section 8 (a) and 1 (1) (b) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Related offences Act.

The two (2) counts charge against the Appellant reads as follows;

THE CHARGED:

"COUNT ONE"

That you Sani Gwandu and others now at large sometimes between May 2008 at Kaduna within the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court did conspired to commit an offence to wit: Obtaining Money under False pretence and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 8 (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related offences Act 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the same Act.
