GALINJE, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): By a notice of motion pursuant to section 243 (a) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999: section 24 (4) of the Court of Appeal Act, Cap. C36, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, Order 3 rules 3 and 4 of the Court of Appeal Rules, 2004 and the inherent jurisdiction of the court, dated 5th day of January, 2006 and filed on the 9th January. 2006, the applicant herein sought for the following reliefs:-

"1. An order extending time within which the applicant (King Remy Igbokwe) as a person interested may apply for leave to appeal against the decision of the High Court of Lagos State contained in the judgment of Olateru-Olagbegi, J. dated 14-7-2005.

2. An order granting leave to the applicant as a person interested to appeal against the decision of the High Court of Lagos State contained in the judgment of Olateru-Olagbegi, J. dated 14-7-2005.
