JUDGMENT
ASARE-BOTWE (MRS.), J.
The antecedents of the case are that the Plaintiff, on the 29th of January, 2018, issued a writ of summons and statement of claim for the following reliefs;
1. Recovery of the sum of USD$10,000.
2. Interest at the prevailing commercial bank rate from August 2017 to the date of final payment.
3. General damages for breach of contract.
The uncontroverted facts of the case that the parties entered into an agreement on the 11th of August 2017, for the Defendant to purchase a 2013 model Range Rover Evoque vehicle for the total price of the of USD$45,000 or Ghana cedi equivalent. It is the case of the Plaintiff that the Defendant initially made a deposit of USD$25,000 and later added USD$10,000 leaving an outstanding balance of USD$10,000 which the Defendant had refused to pay despite calls and other demands made on him to make good.
