JUDGMENT

AGBEVEY, J.

The Petitioner, then a spinster and the Respondent, then a divorcee were married under the provisions of the Mohammedan Ordinance (Cap 129) at the Regimanuel Estate, Spintex Road on the 19th day of May 2016. Per the petition was filed on 26th April, 2017 the Petitioner prays for the following reliefs; 

i) The marriage celebrated on the 19th of May, 2016 be annulled.

ii) Each party to bear its own costs of these proceedings. 

It is the case of the petitioner as averred in the petition that she is a graphic designer but currently unemployed and lives with her parents at No. 47 Agbeleza, Accra whilst the respondent is a businessman who deals in computer hardware among others. The parties who are both Ghanaians cohabited after the marriage, at H/NO. JI/2, Coastal Estates, Accra.
