Judgement

JUDGMENT 

John Baxter (hereinafter called the Petitioner) and Mary Baxter (hereinafter called the Respondent) were married under the Marriages Act of England on the 11th day of November, 2002 at the General Register Office, Huntingdon in the County of  Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. There are no children of the marriage. 

The Petitioner is a citizen of the United Kingdom and a Pensioner while the  Respondent is a citizen of Ghana and a Hairdresser. 

The Petitioner, per his petition filed on the 4th day of February, 2014, is praying  that the said marriage be dissolved. 

The Respondent filed an answer and denied the material particulars. She prayed the Court for the following reliefs: 

1. An opportunity to reconcile or in the alternative 

2. An order that the buildings situate and being at West Legon, Accra, one of  which the Respondent occupies, is a joint property of the parties
