JOROTOM INTERNATIONAL AGENCY NIGERIA LIMITED V. MINISTER, FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY & ANOR

PETER OLABISI IGE, JCA (DELIVERING THE LEADING JUDGEMENT): This appeal is against the Judgment of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Coram: U.P. Kekemeke, J., delivered on 12th day of April, 2016.

The Appellant herein as the Plaintiff via a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim dated the 3rd day of June, 2011 and amended on 22/03/2012, claimed against the defendant the following reliefs before the trial Court:

"1. A Declaration that the Plaintiff is entitled to the Statutory Right of Occupancy over and in respect of the property known as Plot No. 617 Cadastral Zone B08, measuring 4000 square metres and situate within Jahi District, Abuja by virtue of the letter of Terms of grant/Conveyance of Approval dated 12/08/02 duly issued to the Plaintiff by the Defendants for value.
