Judgement

JUDGMENT 

The parties were married under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951 Rev.). On the 21st day of December, 2004 at the Global Evangelical Church, Adonai Chapel Madina. The petitioner and the respondent are 60 years and 65 years respectively. 

Per a petition filed on the 20th day of March, 2015, the petitioner is praying the court for the dissolution of the marriage. The Respondent filed an Answer to the petition in which he agreed that the marriage has broken down irretrievably and prayed for a dissolution of the marriage.  

The issue to be determined by the court is whether or not the marriage has broken  down beyond reconciliation. At the hearing, the Petitioner, testified on oath that  she is a nurse who lives in Slough, London. She confirmed that the parties got  married on the 25th of December, 2004 in Ghana she tendered the marriage certificate which was admitted in evidence as Exhibit 'A'.
