JUDGMENT
Plaintiff issued this writ against Defendant for the following reliefs:
1. An order of specific performance on the Defendant compelling same to construct house type SH. 8.
2. Damages for depriving him from living in the house he has fully paid for.
3. Cost and professional fees of Plaintiff’s Solicitors.
Plaintiff’s case is that he entered into an agreement with Defendant’s predecessor, State Housing Corporation, to construct a house type S.H 8 on a Plot No. 12 Pear Close Teshie Nungua Estates which Defendant allocated to him. Defendant in this case includes Defendant herein and its predecessor. Plaintiff said the Armed Forces Housing Loans Board arranged a loan facility for retiree officers in the 1970’s. Plaintiff said he was granted a loan and paid the sum of twenty-four thousand Cedis (¢24, 000.00) through the Bank for Housing and Construction. Plaintiff said he paid an additional amount of one thousand one hundred Cedis (¢1,100.00) being the full cost of the house.…
