JUDGMENT

The Petitioner and Respondent were married at Family Bible Church.  Mateheko, Accra under the Marriage Ordinance 1884 – 1985 (Cap 127), on  29th November 2008. 

The wife- petitioner issued this Petition against her husband, the Respondent seeking a dissolution of the marriage on the ground that same has broken down beyond reconciliation. She seeks a further order that the Respondent pays off the loan she took for and on his behalf, from the Ghana Commercial  Bank. 

The case of the Petitioner is that Respondent who had fertility problems before  the marriage was contracted kept same from her, and she spent her money  in her attempts to assist him resolve the problem by taking him to various  health facilities. However the Respondent refused to take his medication, and further refuses to have sexual relations with her, and on account of the Respondent’s behavior, she cannot reasonably be expected to live with him.  Further she contended that the Respondent has failed …
