Judgement

ESSIEN J (DELIVERING THE JUDGMENT): The claimant by a complaint dated and filed on the 10/5/2017 sought the following relieves from the court. 

1. A DECLARATION that the suspension of the Claimant indefinitely without pay by the Defendant is wrongful, unjustifiable, unwarranted and unreasonable for being contrary to the terms and conditions of the Claimant’s contract of service with the Defendant. 

2. A DECLARATION that the Contract of Service between the Claimant and the Defendant still subsists. 

3. FOR AN ORDER awarding and mandating the Defendant to pay the Claimant the total sum of ₦2,520,000.00= (Two Million Five Hundred and Twenty Thousand Naira only) at the rate of ₦105,000.00 per a month being the Claimant’s unpaid salaries for the period of 24 months from 5th January, 2015 to January, 2017; thereafter the sum of ₦105,000.00 per month until judgment is delivered. 

4. AN ORDER of the Court nullifying the indefinite suspension of the Claimant by the Defendant since 5th January,2015…
