(Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the Judgment of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja in Suit No. FCT/HC/CV/1391/06 - MABOL and ASSOCIATES LTD V. (1) NATIONAL CORDINATOR/CE NATIONAL PROGRAMME ON IMMUNIZATION (2) NATIONAL PROGRAMME ON IMMUNIZATION delivered on the 9th day of November 2006.

According to the endorsement on the Writ of Summons, the Plaintiff now Respondent claimed against the Defendants now Appellants as follows:-

"(i) Payment of the sum of N15,807,634.04 (Fifteen Million, Eight Hundred and Seven Thousand, Six Hundred and Thirty-Four Naira Four Kobo) only.

(ii) 21% interest rate per annum on the above stated sum from 5th August 2003 until the date of Judgment.

(iii) 10% interest rate per annum on the Judgment sum until the Judgment Debt is finally liquidated.
