JUDGMENT
AMOAH (MRS.) J.
By a writ dated the 25th day of June, 2014, the Plaintiff sued the Defendants for the following reliefs:
“1. Recovery of the sum of One Hundred and Seventy-One Thousand, One Hundred and Thirty-Three Ghana Cedis, Eighteen Pesewas (GHȼ171,133.18) against the Defendants jointly and severally.
2. Interest on the said sum of One Hundred and Seventy-One Thousand, One Hundred and Thirty-Three Ghana Cedis, Eighteen Pesewas (GHȼ171,133.18) at the rate of
4.5% per month basis from 31st May, 2014 till date of final payment against
Defendants jointly and severally.
3. A default charge of 2.5% of the total judgement debt (exclusive of costs).”
The Plaintiff’s case is that it is a Ghanaian registered non-bank financial institution.
The 1st Defendant is a customer of the Plaintiff and also a company duly registered under the laws of Ghana.
