JUDGMENT

DADZIE, J.

On September 4, 2018 the plaintiff, Nii Amanor Dodoo, caused a writ of summons and an accompanying statement of claim to be issued against sixteen (16) Defendants, who were shareholders and officers of UniBank Ghana Limited ("Unibank"), seeking the following reliefs:

"a) A declaration that the various transactions identified by the receiver and variously described in the Statement of Claim, resulting in the unlawful loans, the unlawful advances and the acquisition of assets in the names of shareholders, their related interests and/or persons related to the shareholders, are unlawful;
b) A declaration that the 8TH, 9TH, 10TH, 11TH, 12TH, 14TH, 15TH, 16TH, and 17TH Defendants have breached their duties as directors of UniBank Ghana Ltd and are liable for all the loss to UniBank Ghana Ltd occasioned by their acts of breach;
c) A declaration that the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th Defendants are jointly and severally liable for the re…
