SANUSI JSC (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division (“the lower court” for short), delivered on 5 September 2015. (coram Hon. Justice Abubakar Datti Yahaya JCA, Hon. Justice Tani Y. Hassan JCA and Hon. Justice M. Mustapha JCA), which dismissed the appeal filed before it by the present appellant and affirmed the decision of Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja.
