Judgement

BADA JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling): This is an application dated 21 November 2008 and filed on the same date in which the applicant prayed for the following orders: Extension of time within which to seek leave to appeal against the decision of Honourable Justice Salisu Garba in F.R.N. v. Prof. Adenike Grange and 11 Others, charge No. FCT/HC/ CR/48/08. Leave to appeal the same decision.

Extension of time within which to appeal same.

The grounds for the application as deposed to in Criminal form 7 are as follows: (i) The rulings of the lower court sought to be appealed against delivered on 19 May 2008 and 31 July 2008 respectively.

) That for the sake of convenience, my counsel, Chief Afe Babalola, CON, SAN advised me that my appeal against the decision of 19 May 2008 should await the decision of 31 July 2008.

) That my proposed notice of appeal is hereby attached as

“exhibit 1” to this application.
