OBANDE FESTUS OGBUINYA, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal queries the correctness of the decision of the High Court of Kano State, holden at Kano (hereinafter addressed as the lower Court), coram judice: Dije Abdu Aboki, J., in Charge No. K/EFCC08/2012, delivered on 5th June, 2014. Before the lower Court, the appellant and the respondent were the accused person and the complainant respectively.
The facts of the case, which gave birth to the appeal, are amenable to brevity and simplicity.
