FASANMI JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling): The applicants seeking to be joined in the substantive appeal before this court filed a motion on notice pursuant to Order 7, rule (1) of the Court of Appeal Rules, 2007, section 15 of Court of Appeal Act, Cap. 36, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and section 36(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999.

The application was dated and filed on 10 June 2008.

The applicants are prayingthe court for the following orders:

(1) An order seeking the leave of this honourable court to join as the 3rd and 4th respondents respectively, in this appeal.
