Judgement

RIDWAN MAIWADA ABDULLAHI, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of Hon. Justice R. A. Shiyanbola of the Osun State High Court of Justice sitting at Ile-Ife delivered on 22/01/2014 wherein the Appellant was found guilty of receiving stolen property and convicted and also sentenced to life imprisonment on Count 3 of the charge; while he was discharged and acquitted on two offences of conspiracy and armed robbery (Counts 1 and 2 of the charge).

The convict/appellant being dissatisfied with the said judgment filed an original Notice of Appeal on 19/2/2014 to this Court which he amended on 23/11/2015 and thereafter filed the Appellant's Amended Brief on 14/10/2016 along with a motion to regularize the processes filed by his new Counsel which have been served on the Respondent. The application in motion on notice was granted by this Court.
