JUDGMENT  

The Plaintiff issued a writ of summons against the Defendant for the following  reliefs: 

1. An order for the recovery of the sum of US$40,000 or its equivalent in  Ghana cedis being the value of 4 plots of land situate at Paradise Estates  Dome Pillar 2, Accra, which the Defendant herein took over with a  promise to replace same with at a site at Mai Dzorn, Accra but which site  or plots of land have been registered in another person’s name. 

2. An order for the recovery of the sum of US$8,000 which the Plaintiff paid  to the Defendant herein for the documentation and registration of the  said 4 plots of land situate at Mai Dzorn which the Defendant gave to the  Plaintiff in exchange or replacement of the Plaintiff’s 4 plots of land  situate at Dome Pillar 2, Accra. 

3. General Damages for deceit and breach of promise.
