EBIOWEI TOBI, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the ruling of Hon. Justice O.A. Ogala of the High Court of Lagos State sitting at the TBS Annex in Suit No. LA/082CMW/2015 – Magic Support Nigeria Limited v. Mainstreet Bank Limited delivered on 3/6/2015. The ruling was in respect of two applications before the lower Court. The applications are the motion dated 9/2/2015 filed by the Respondent (then Award Creditor/Applicant) seeking an order for the lower Court directing that the final arbitral award dated 15/1/2015 be recognized, confirmed and enforced as a judgment of the Court and also an order granting leave to the Respondent to enforce the final arbitral award as a judgment of the Court; and the motion dated 10/4/2015 filed by the Appellant (then Award Debtor/Respondent) seeking in the main that the entire award be set aside and that the enforcement of the award be refused.
