JUDGMENT 

The 1st and 2nd Plaintiffs reside in Ethiopia and Canada respectively. They instituted this action through their lawful attorney, Young Effah Addai. Their case is that on 8th January,  2004, they purchased a parcel of land evidenced by two Deeds of Assignment, Exhibits ‘D’  and ‘E’ from the 1st Defendant. Plaintiffs further state that the two Deeds of Assignment were  sent to the Land Valuation Board where they were stamped and indexed as No AR/1516A/04  and AR/1561A/2004 respectively. After the purchase, the Plaintiffs claim they built a wall  around the land and put a caretaker in charge of the premises.  

Plaintiffs’ case is that the 1st Defendant subsequently purported to convey their land to the 3rd Defendant Company, acting through the 2nd Defendant. This led the Plaintiff’s attorney to  lodge a complaint at the Property Fraud Unit of the Ghana Police Service.
