<p><strong> SANKEY JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling) </strong> : The applicants herein,(who are respondents to the appeal filed by the appellants), in an application dated 7 February 2008 and filed on 12 February 2008, seek the following orders of this court:</p><p>An order of this honourable court allowing the respondents/ cross-appellants/applicants to amend their statement of claim by adding new paragraphs 1(a), 9(a), 9(b), 9(c), 9(d), 19(a), 20, 20(a) and 37(a) to the existing statement of claim as per the schedule of amendment hereto attached as exhibit 1.</p><p>An order of the court deeming as duly filed and served, the amended statement of claim hereto attached and marked as exhibit 2, the prescribed fees having been paid.
