J U D G M E N T

The plaintiff claims against the defendants the following reliefs:

1. The sum of GH¢12,000.00 being sum advanced for supply of maize which the defendant has failed to supply.

2. Interest on the said sum from 1/4/2014 to date of final payment.

The brief facts of this case are that the parties are maize traders at the Kaneshie market. In 2014, the plaintiff and other traders gave money to the defendant to be given to one Aisha Saeed Kulego (hereinafter Aisha) for the supply of maize but the maize was not supplied.

The plaintiff called two witnesses. PW1 Kafui Denu, a maize trader and PW2 Atsu Akpadey alias Francis and Angola. The plaintiff’s case is that she does not know Aisha and that it was the defendant who took her money with the promise to supply her maize. She contended that the defendant told her, he was an agent of Aisha and is therefore liable to refund the monies he received from her.
