MUHAMMED LAWAL SHUAIBU, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): By motion on notice brought pursuant to Order 6 Rules 1 and 9 (1) of the Court of Appeal Rules 2016, Section 15 of the Court of Appeal Act Cap. C 36 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, the applicant prays for the following orders:
1. An order of Court extending time by two weeks within which the applicant can appeal against the judgment of High Court of justice Sokoto in Suit No. SS/25/2014 delivered on the 9th of May, 2016.
2. Such further orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit to make in the circumstances.
The grounds for bringing the application are as follows:
1. The High Court of Justice Sokoto delivered its judgment against the Applicant on the 9th of May 2016.
2. That since when the judgment of the Court was delivered, the judgment of the Court below was not readily made available to the applicant save on the 12th of April 2017.
