EKO JCA (Delivering the Lead Judgment): The writ of summons issued on 28 September 2008 by the registrar of the High Court of Federal Capital Territory at the instance of the 1st - 4th respondents, as plaintiffs, has the named appellants and one Mr. Amir Malka (the named 5th respondent herein) as the defendants. The plaintiff’s statement of claim was endorsed on the writ of summons.

The statement of claim was settled by Ayuba Bawa, Esq. of counsel to the plaintiffs. The substance of the writ of summons and the statement of claim is a complaint of sexual harassment made by each of the four (4) plaintiffs against the 3rd defendant (Mr. Amir Maika), now describe as the 5th respondent herein. The statement of claim, at pages 4 - 11 of the record, describes the 1st defendant thereon as a limited liability company with head office at an address in Jabi, Abuja FCT.
