J U D G M E N T 

Shirley Naa Anyema Korley (hereinafter called the Petitioner) and Edward Nii Oloquaye Martey (hereinafter called the Respondent) were marred under the  Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951Rev.) on the 27th day of September, 2003 at  the St. Andrews Anglican Church, Abossey-Okai, Accra. 

Per the petition filed on the 3rd day of November, 2015, the Petitioner is  praying for the following reliefs: 

i. An order dissolving the said Ordinance marriage celebrated between the parties’ herein on the 27th day of September 2003. 

ii. An order for the Respondent to pay to the Petitioner an amount of  GH¢50,000 as lump sum settlement. 

iii. An order that the Petitioner is entitled to half share of the matrimonial  home at New Gbawe and thus a Joint Owner of the matrimonial home  which was put up in the course of the marriage.

iv. An order that in lieu of Petitioner’s half share of the matrimonial home the Respondent provides the petitioner a three bedroom fully walled  property at one …
