JUDGMENT
YEBOAH, J.
In this application for the enforcement of fundamental human rights and freedoms filed on 5th March 2015, this Court is called upon to draw the appropriate, conceptual boundary between media independence, on the one hand, and the duty of the police to prevent and prosecute crime, on the other. In other words, in preventing the Applicants from filming the aftermath of the Mensah Guinea demolition, did the Respondents interfere with the Applicants’ enjoyment of media independence and other rights and freedoms?
The Applicants in this application are all journalists in the employment of the Multimedia Group Limited assigned to the Multi TV Joynews Department.
